Pre-Approved Continuing Education Courses

Listing of pre-approved continuing education courses. This listing will be updated on a bi-monthly basis. All MOTA and AOTA courses, as well as courses offered by AOTA Approved Providers, are granted pre-approved by the Maryland Board of Occupational Therapy. If a course is not listed, and you would like the Board to review it, please complete the CCR approval request form. Please include a course description, brief biography/resume of the presenter, hour-by-hour agenda, and dates and location of the course. This information is usually found on the course brochure.

Continuing Education for 1/1/2002 through 12/31/2003

If you are a course sponsor and would like the Board to review your course material, please complete a CCR approval form and include a course description, brief biography/resume of the presenter, hour-by-hour agenda and dates and location of the course. The Board may require verification of a presenter's licensure status, if the presenter will be practicing occupational therapy procedures as part of the demonstration/presentation. There is a $30 charge per course review for sponsors.
Courses offered by AOTA Approved Providers are granted pre-approval by the Maryland Board of Occupational Therapy Practice. Participants will need only to retain a copy of the certificate of completion as documentation verifying completion of the approved contact hours.
